The world's first Galaxie® gearbox uses an innovative mechanical design to provide extremely high power density and torsional stiffness. For the first time, the design eliminates gears, and instead treats each column tooth as an independent and dynamic individual. This design allows the power to be transmitted through the entire surface contact instead of the traditional linear contact, so as to achieve zero backlash, best synchronization accuracy and excellent repeatability. This gearbox is also the core component of the Galaxie® electromechanical integrated drive unit, which can be easily installed in the machine. With the addition of standard accessories, conventional industrial motors can be easily connected. Both coaxial and quasi-hyperbolic versions are available, with a wide range of speed ratio options, bringing maximum flexibility.
